Pekanbaru, February 20, 2025 – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Riau University has once again proven its commitment to improving the quality of academic and administrative services by winning four prestigious awards at the 2025 Riau University Development Planning Conference (Musrenbang).
The Best Award I in Public Information Disclosure in 2024 was won by the FISIP Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID), with a perfect score of 100.00 and the predicate Informative. This award was given as a form of appreciation for FISIP's contribution in supporting information disclosure, transparency, accountability, and public participation within the Riau University environment.
Best I in the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) at the Riau University Level with a score of 96.40 and the predicate AA (Very Satisfactory), FISIP has proven its commitment to managing performance effectively and accountably. This achievement reflects FISIP's success in implementing the principles of good governance, transparency, and effectiveness in institutional governance. SAKIP evaluation is carried out to assess the extent to which the agency is able to prepare, implement, and account for programs and activities based on the strategic targets that have been set.
The Best Study Program I in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Riau in 2024 was won by the International Relations (HI) Study Program with a score of 76.46%. This award is real evidence of the HI study program's commitment to improving academic quality, research quality, and contribution to the development of International Relations science at the national and international levels.
The Best Integrity Zone (ZI) Award II at the faculty level in 2024 as a form of appreciation for FISIP's efforts in realizing transparent, accountable, and service-oriented governance.
The Chancellor of the University of Riau, Prof. Dr. Sri Indarti, S.E., M.Sc., who presented this award, greatly appreciated the various achievements obtained by FISIP. "This achievement is expected to be a motivation for all faculties at the University of Riau to continue to improve their performance in order to achieve the Vision of the University of Riau," said Prof. Sri Indarti.
Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Riau, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., with all humility expressed his gratitude and expressed his thanks for this achievement. "This award is the result of the hard work of the entire team and academic community of FISIP. We will continue to strive to improve services to support Universitas Riau towards a World Class University," said Dr. Meyzi.
